I would point at two things:
1. "50 feet away" is at the end of recommended distance for Satellite Deco. See Q2 in General question about the Wi-Fi range of Deco. In simple terms, it means 50 feet is too far.
2. When deploying WiFi mesh, people often make mistake of placing Satellite node where they want to have best WiFi coverage. I am assuming you want to have best WiFi coverage in your office, so you moved Satellite X90 there. In fact, the proper placement of Satellite is approximately in the middle between Main node and where you want to have best WiFi coverage. Which means you should start with placing Satellite X90 about 25 feet away from Main X90, between Main Deco and your office.

After you did that, and if that works, meaning you have stable Satellite X90, you can try tuning its location. Check Signal Source for Satellite X90, you can find in it Deco app under that Satellite information page. Signal Source reports quality of connection between Satellite Deco and Main Deco.
You should expect to see something similar to the following:

For best Satellite Deco placement, you should have three, or at least two, blue bars. If it is less than two, you will have to move Satellite X90 closer to Main Deco.
Run speed test with mobile device at your office. Move X90 closer to the office, but make sure Signal Source has at least two blue bars at the new location. Run speed tests again. Keep moving X90 until you find an optimal position with best speed test results from the mobile device in the office and good connection between Satellite X90 and Main Deco.
