More information about ER7212PC
@Fae or sombody from TP-Link
Hi, there is little information about the ER7212PC, is there any documentation?
How does this device work? is there a built-in switch that can be configured as a switch or are the ports like on the other routers?
Does it support multi site?
Is there a simulator available?
and pls add this to Model to this form, I have to use ER7206

I would like more information on how this works, I have bad experience with UDM Pro which does not have support for multisite, do this unit have multisite support? how is switch management and so on on this unit.
so there are many unanswered questions. It is strange that there is no documentation on this product at all,

yes i have seen this. it worries me that there is only support for two switches and 10 access points. but I hope tp-link @Fae has more information about what I'm wondering about, so the safest thing is probably not to buy this for the time being.

Dear @shberge,
Thank you for your feedback. I've added this ER7212PC model to the Router forum.
Sorry that the emulator and UG of this device is not available yet, I'll try to share the information I have with you for your reference.
The ER7212PC is a 3-in-1 Router which integrates router, PoE switch, and Omada controller altogether. Basically you can take it as one machine which has built-in Omada Software Controller and supports Router function and PoE+ output. The detailed specifications can be found from the product page (check SPEC or Datasheet).
As you may find that the ER7212PC can only manage up to 1 Router, 2 Switches and 10 EAPs. I'd add that it is designed for small network scenarios such as small restaurants, convenience stores, and residential home improvement. You may confirm your application scenarios and network requirements before choosing a product, and select what suits you.
Regarding multi site support, since the ER7212PC itself is a Router and you can add a second Omada Router for management, it can support two Sites in total at most.
That's all the current information I have, hope it helps!
