Hi, I hello trying to connect the access point TL-WA1201 to the poe switch TL-SL1226P, why the connection does not work without powering the access point from the ac socket?

TL-WA1201 support Passive PoE, while TL-SL1226P is 802.3at/802.3af compliant - check this FAQ.
