Hi, I've had an E4 mesh system in place for a few years now and have found it to work well.

However, I recently received a broadband upgrade and can now receive speeds of up to 800mbps directly from the router. I understand that E4 can only manage up to 90ish (and that certainly seems to be the case) but... if I were to buy an M4 (which can work with much higher broadband speeds) and use it as the base unit, would the pre-existing E4 units be able to receive higher speeds or would they still be limited?

 Thanks!

@Techfearjoy The only difference between Deco E4 & M4 is that M4 has gigabit ports, whereas E4 has 10/100 Mbps ports. Everything else is the same.

If you wanna get higher speed, set the M4 as "Main Deco" & connect it to your device via Ethernet cable.

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

@ImtiazAli thanks! Have done so and note a significant improvement in speed...
