Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

I recently set up an Omada-controlled ER605 (v2 w/USB port on front) for my home business 1Gb symmetrical Fios connection. My previous router had no issues getting 1Gb up/down on speed tests, the ER605 consistently hits over 900Mbps downstream but only 240mbps upstream, well shy of the full 1000mbps I pay for. I have a 1Gb Spectrum connection that I use for failover which is connected to this router. The 240Mbps limit occurs whether load balancing is on or off.

I'm using the latest Omada controller software, v5.7.4. Is this expected behavior with this router or should I be changing configuration somewhere to achieve full upload speed?

@Shoresy Did support end up resolving your issue? I'm encountering the same ~240 Mbps upload speed limit on an ER605 v1.6.

@Spark343 Well, yes and no. In some cases the ER605 will reach higher upload speeds on speedtests. Try using speedtest servers that your ISP might provide to find out if you get different results. In the long run I ended up going with a x86 mini-PC running OPNsense as I needed something that would handle dual 1Gbps WAN throughput from two separate providers, and the ER605 just didn't provide consistent bandwidth upstream. I'm not sure if that was related to hardware or firimware limitations on the ER605.
