I'm thinking of getting a Deco x50 3-pack and interested in putting it in a star network.
I was wondering, that since the x50 has 3 ports, would I still need a switch? It should be enough for the modem + 2 other units. Like below:
Will this work? Is the switch still needed?
If you have enough Ethernet ports on Main Deco to connect Satellite Decos to it, you will not need a switch. What you want to achieve without switch will work.
