Deco XE75 supports 6e but not 6?
Just got the Deco XE75 because I need a dedicated 6Gz band. I just set it up and to my surprise I can only find it with devices that gave 6e. This means that the device i want to connect must have wifi 6e. If it has wifi 6, it wont discover the wifi 6(or6e network).
Does anyone have a fix for me to get to connect a wifi 6 account to this wifi 6e band?
a dedicated how to get

Deco XE75 has
6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax)
5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax)
2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)
Normally, 6ghz is for the devices that are capable of WiFi 6e
If your devices are WiFi 4/5/6, they could only detect the 2.4ghz and 5ghz of Deco XE75. so you might need to make sure you have both 2.4ghz and 5ghz enabled.

@Heidi_Alp i have a Fire stick 4k max which is wifi 6. I bought this setup specially for the wifi 6. The stick is wifi 6, not 6e. Do you mean to say that the Deco XE75 which is wifi 6e, is not capable of wifi 6?
If so, how come?

WiFi 6E is identical to WiFi 6 with an addition of “E”, which stands for “Extended”.
As in an extended number of the usable wireless band, the 6 GHz band.
So simply put, WiFi 6E means WiFi 6 extended to the 6 GHz band.

@Bunky I must be confused or dont understand this properly. When I enabled the 6Hz band, it says that it is only visible to clients with wifi 6E. My macbook is wifi 6, not 6E, and cannot see the 6 GHz band. Same for my Fire stick is wifi 6, not 6E and can only see the regular (2.4&5 GHz) network, not the 6 GHz.
Am i missing something?

@IYS It litterally says: "Only Wi-Fi 6E-compatible devices can search for and join the 6 GHz network."
I upgraded my current wifi setup because i wanted a tri-band instead of the two-band i already had. But now that i have a tri-band, i cannot use the 6 Ghz band because my devices are wifi 6 and not 6E?

"I cannot use the 6 Ghz band because my devices are wifi 6 and not 6E?"
Correct.
WiFi 6 doesn't support the 6 GHz, Wifi 6E does.
So your conclusion is right: The Deco supports the 6 GHz band but your devices not (yet).
However, your Wifi 6 devices must be a lot faster now..

Yes, there is confusion between WiFi protocol names/numbers and bands.
This is how it works:
WiFi 5 - runs on 5GHz
WiFi 6 - runs on 5GHz
WiFi6e - runs on 6GHz

@Bunky you say my device is faster because more mbps or because of the tri-band router instead of my old two-band one?
do my wifi6 devices benefit from this tri-band even if the device is not wifi 6e?

Wifi 6 offers faster speed than Wifi 5, both for a single device and much more when multiple devices are connected to one router.
Your Wifi 6 devices do not benefit from the 6 GHz band directly. Therefor you need Wifi 6E devices.
But when the XE75 Deco's are connected wireless, the 6 GHz will be used for the backhaul. That's a plus.
