Deco X 5, Version 1, AX3000
I bought a Deco M4 last week but it didn't work even after help from Deco.
I bought a Deco X5. I have 3 nodes. The main one is the Hallway. A satellite in the Study 20 feet away. A second node in the Living room 20 feet the other side of the hallway. Speed is crazy slow. I bought Deco because I have family home for Christmas who need fast speeds. Help please.
I may be able to help, but I will need more information from you:
1. There is no Deco X5 model. Please double check and tell back what you have: is it M5, X50, X55 or something else?
2. Clarify "crazy slow speed" and also tell what is your Internet speed. Example: "My Internet is 500Mbps, but connected by WiFi to Deco I am getting no more than 100Mbps."
3. How do you check speeds? Please tell what device you use (smartphone, tablet, PC) and what speed test app on that device.
4. Before Deco, you must have had ISP router I assume. Have you connected Main Deco to ISP router or bypassed ISP router? If Main Deco is connected to ISP router, what is ISP router brand name and model number?
5. Please share list of your Deco mesh units from Deco app, make screenshot and add it to your reply. This is example from my home network:
