My old Archer A7 still connects just fine but which I plug the modem into the AX90, I get nothing. Is there some setting I'm missing? Is my modem not compatible with the AX90? My ISP is Comcast.
Use this guide to configure your router to connect to Arris SB6183.
The best approach would be to check (take notes of) your old Archer A7 WAN settings and reproduce them on the AX90 WAN.
Then arrange the same cable connection for the AX90 as it was for Archer A7 and test again.
