I am using an Archer C7 v4 wifi router for several years.

It serves several wired (TV, PC, laptop, printer, Philips HUE bridge, electricity meter bridge, ...) and wireless (Sonos, tablets, mobile phones, ...)
clients wiithout problems.

Recently I have installed a myenergi zappi electrical vehicle loader. It has a build in communication hub for wifi and ethernet connections.

The hub initiates a connection to the myenergi servers.  This is an outgoing connection to port 87 on the server.

No other ports are required.

When i use the Wifi link then this connection is properly established.

When i use the LAN link then a connection with the router is made (IP and MAC address is shown in the router wired clients list).
However the link with the myenergi server is NOT made.

The hub sends data to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) server on one of the following IP addresses:

108.128.185.52, 34.249.116.47 or  54.155.166.221

Initially my router was using firm ware 1.0.7 Build 20180425

Then i upgraded to 1.0.8 Build 20190411.

With this initially the LAN link to the server was established.

However after power down/up of the zappi and/or router the LAN link could not be retrieved.

I have extensively tested the ethernet cable: cable tester and PC link are fine.

The LAN link does work when connected through the LAN port of an AP router. So the LAN link of the zappi is functional.

The issue must be with the router wired client settings.

What can I do to get the LAN connection working through the router ?

At present i am using the default settings from the firmware.
