Model: Archer C80
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have 2 Archer C80,

1 of which is the main router, the other is used as a AP.

However the AP to main router is recognized as 10mbps Full duplex despite using a 5E cable. I'm aware that Tplink doesnt allow adjustment of negotiation speed. Hence, what's wrong here?

Faulty 5E cable?

  @ThreeM

C80 is a full gigabit router - if your cables are OK then every ethernet cable connection (with Cat5E/6) between two C80 should be negotiated at 1000mbps.

Usually the reason for this kind of issues is a bad ethernet cable (bad RJ-45 crimping). Using another quality ethernet cable usually solves this problem.

Here's a troubleshooting guide on that matter.
