RE 650 stops working
I have a RE 650 range extender, hardware version 1. Firmware is up to date (RE650(EU)_V1_201112). I only use 2.4 ghz band.
The first time I configured it, it worked just fine for a couple days, but now the connection randomly disconnects. On Windows I get an error message: "Default Gateway Is Not Available". On Android and iOS the message says that an ip address could not be obtained. Sometimes the connection works on a device but not on certain others.
When I have these problems, nothing changes on the device LEDs.
Restarting the range extender, the pc or the router doesn't help. When it stops working, only using the reset button and doing the configuration from scratch will make it work again.
I am on Windows 10 and I use a ZTE MF90+ 484304 Huawei 4G router with a sim card. It's not great but it always worked for me before. The router is next to the range extender.
Can you help me please?

In this case, please help confirm the following information.
1. When your Windows laptop and phones have no internet access when connecting to the RE650's Wi-Fi, do you have internet if wired a laptop to the RE650?
If not, please help check the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway on the laptop.
2. Do you have internet when connecting to the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi directly when the RE650 is not working? If the router's Wi-Fi is not working, it's suggested to contact the support of the router.
If the router is working, what's the IP, subnet mask, and default gateway on the client connected to the router directly?
3. How often does the issue happens?
4. If the problem happens on your client, disable the Wi-Fi on it and then turn the Wi-Fi back on, and reconnect it to the RE650's Wi-Fi, will it have internet access?
Thanks.

1. When your Windows laptop and phones have no internet access when connecting to the RE650's Wi-Fi, do you have internet if wired a laptop to the RE650?
Yes. Also I noticed that connecting the range extender with an Ethernet cable and then disconnecting the cable and going back to Wi-Fi momentarily fixes the issue.
2. Do you have internet when connecting to the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi directly when the RE650 is not working?
Yes.

3) The issue can happen anywhere from once every couple days to several times a day.
4. If the problem happens on your client, disable the Wi-Fi on it and then turn the Wi-Fi back on, and reconnect it to the RE650's Wi-Fi, will it have internet access?
No. The problem seems to be not in my router, nor in the range extender or the Windows pc, but in the communication between all them.

Hi, thank you very much for the valuable information, it seems that extender is still connected to your router since LEDs don't change and wired clients to the extender still work.
However, wireless client devices sometimes may have no valid IP address/default gateway, which results in the internet disconnection, please check the IP address and default gateway on the wireless client device when they lose internet access to confirm it.
In addition, 192.168.0.1 is your router LAN IP address, right? if the wireless computer still having default gateway 192.168.0.1 when losing internet, please check if you are able to ping the router LAN IP at that moment.
By the way, you mentioned that only 2.4GHz WiFi is used, do you mean your router only supports 2.4GHz WiFi? and is the extended network name the same as your router or different? it is recommended to use different name so that we could tell which is which easily for troubleshooting.

Last night my pc and iPad were normally connected, but my Firestick tv and my Android phone were not. I'm really left scratching my head.

Yes, it only supports 2.4ghz wifi.
I will update the thread later when I check for more info.
