Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 210408 Rel.37106n (6582)

When I bought it (a week ago) I was able to configure the repeater correctly and it extended my 5.0Ghz wifi network. But then today I rebooted the main modem and then the repeater stopped recognizing it. I tried resetting it but no matter what I do when it scans it finds ALL 5.0ghz networks around me except mine. Yes, I already tried to connect my laptop and my original router if it is giving the 5ghz signal so I don't know what it could be.

Hi, you mean your laptop could still see and connect the 5GHz WiFi of your router but the extender cannot see it, right?

Please check which 5G channel your router is using now, and try to change the channel to 36, 40, 44, or 48 to see if the extender will see it.
