Deco XE75 (Pro) - traffic stats and parental controls don't work with IPv6
Update 2023-05-09
I worked with TP-Link support in China to confirm that the Deco XE75 Pro (and presumably the non Pro) don't account for IPv6 traffic when IPv6 is enabled. This means that the Deco app won't show correct realtime speed numbers for IPv6 traffic.
These units also don't support parental controls for IPv6 devices. Blocking a device with IPv6 enables blocks IPv4 traffic but allows IPv6 requests to reach the Internet.
The tech support rep confirmed that these features aren't compatible with IPv6 on the XE75 Pro, but supposedly will be on the newer WiFi 7 Deco units that will release soon.
Sharing here in case it helps others understand the strange behavior of these devices when IPv6 is enabled.

I found that a fast.com speed test does not cause the throughput numbers in the Deco app to increase during the test run, but running a speedtest.net test does.
This made me wonder what the difference is between the two sites / tests. I then remembered I have IPv6 enabled on the Deco / my network.
I found that disabling IPv6 "fixes" the issue. So, my hunch is that the Deco isn't accounting for IPv6 traffic properly and updating the realtime throughput numbers to reflect it :(
I also wondered if this could explain why I've had inconsistent success with the parental control features, do they not support IPv6 either?

If so, I feel like I purchased broken hardware that misadvertises IPv6 support. Does TP-Link plan to fix this glaring issue?
I need IPv6 for work related reasons so can't just disable it and move on.

I have a Gigabit Internet connection and tend to download large files at full speed.
Even when downloading files at 950+Mbps for multiple hours, the Deco app shows me inconsistent download speeds.
Is there a plan to make the Deco app show the actual current throughput to the Internet?
Here is an example while I am downloading files on my Mac at 122MB/sec (976 Mbps)
And here is what the Deco app shows
