Model: Archer C64
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I recently upgraded my home internet to FTTP.  My internet speed was 100/20. It is now 1000/40 and my archer c64 I use is now only showing it is running at 100Mbps instead of 1000 like it was before I upgraded.

I haven't changed any cables, but I have got a new Modem that does have Gigabit ports and the ethernet cable connected directly to my pc from that new modem is at 1000.

But for some reason, the C64 is stuck on 100 and cannot find a way to change it anywhere

  @Sunshine

hello

thanks for the reply.

after doing some testing on some different ports; it looks like the tech who upgraded my internet has damaged the cable running through my walls that connect the Ethernet from where my modem is to one of the bedrooms.

as I tested the archer directly next to the modem and was getting a 1000Mbps link speed

  @Danstar

Hi, is the Ethernet cable between new modem and WAN port of Archer C64 the same as the one used when connecting PC directly to the new modem?

Please make sure the Ethernet cable is of good quality, and it is better to use Cat6 or above cable.

In addition, may I have a screenshot of the 100Mbps link rate between WAN port of Archer C64 and your new modem?

And if you connect the PC to LAN port of the Archer C64, what is the link speed between the PC and router LAN port? How to check the associated/link speed on a wired client

By the way, may I know the model number of your new modem? If it has several LAN ports, please also try a different port of the modem.

And who is your ISP please?
