Hallo zusammen,

 

ich habe einen RE205 gekauft, damit ich meinen Laptop mit einem 5Ghz Wlan verbinden kann. 

 

Mein Hauptrouter TL-MR6500v unterstützt nur 2,4Ghz was am Laptop durch mehrere Bluetooth Geräte zu Störungen kommt.

 

Der Laptop kann keine Verbindung zum 5Ghz Wlan aufbauen. Es kommen lt. Windows diverse Fehler Codes - 163851, 229378, 229377

 

Mein Handy, Tablets, andere PCs verbinden sich ohne Probleme mit dem 5Ghz Wlan, nur der eine Laptop nicht.

 

Habe bereits mehrfach, Router und Repeater neu konfiguriert aber leider alles ohne Erfolg. Treiber am Laptop sind auch mehrfach neu installiert worden.

 

Danke für eine mögliche Hilfe.

Hi, you are able to see the 5GHz WiFi but unable to connect, right? May I have the exact message of the error code?

Besides, is the laptop able to connect any other 5GHz Wi-Fi? Please move the laptop closer to the extender to see if it helps.

 

By the way, are you able to connect the laptop to the extender via 2.4GHz WiFi and Ethernet connection?

hello sunshine, yes my laptop is albe to connect to other 5Ghz Wifis. Only the connection to the RE205 is not possible. All of my other wifi devices can be connect with the 5Ghz of RE205 Connection with 2,4Ghz is possible and Ethernet also, only the 5Ghz makes problems
