Hi!

I have a TP-link MiFi M7450, HW version 2.0, Firmware version 1.0.8.

My Samsung phones and tablets and Frameo photo frame (make Denver) do NOT connect to internet via the M7450. WiFi setting in these devices say: "connected to TP-link_xxx, no internet". I am not sure about other devices but my Iphone and laptop (windows) work fine: they do have connection to internet, also VPN via laptop. So the SIM seems to work.

I can use the tpMiFi app on the Samsung tablet to administer the M7450, for example to unlock the SIM.

What should I do to get access to internet for all devices?

I guess I found a solution: make a new profile in APN management and set PDP type to IPv4 (only). This makes sense as my Samsung devices might be a bit old (2016 or so). Other settings same as default. Default PDP type setting was IPv4 & IPv6. Obviously automatic switching between IPv4 and IPv6 does not work. And I don't know in what device this should be, in the Mifi??

Hello, glad to hear that you've solved the problem now, just for records, may I know the ISP name of your SIM card?

  @Joost_JP
 It Works! You have to Create a new profile in APN Management with set PDP type to IPv4 (only).
And the rest of the settings the same as it was set by default at first.

Below my settings in the Netherlands with my simcard provider KPN:

Profile List: KPN

Profile Name: KPN2

PDP Type: IPv4
APN TYPE: Static
APN: KPN4G.NL

Authentication Type: CHAP

Username: <empty>

Password: <empty>

My laptop had wifi and internet connection with the tplink router. And my mobile phone (samsung) did connect with the router but had no internet connection it said. I changed the above settings in de router and it worked! >SOLVED<

  @TimZwe

Thank you very much for the feedback, which would be helpful for other KPN users.
