The router that I have from my ISP is on bridge mode. It is connected by a fiber cable where I use a CAT cable from the ISP router to the R605.
I am paying for a static IP.
The R605 is the router. Then I have the SG2008P Switch, EAP620 and a SG108E Switch as the system.
Before installing the Omada Controller, I managed to make it work by directly change the IP from Dynamic to Static on the R605. However, by doing the same on the Omada Controller it doesn't work.
I am using the Omada Controller Software on a Linux server.
Everything works fine with Dynamic IP. When I try to go with a Staic IP as connection type instead of Dynamic I just end up with no internet connection.

If you want the router's WAN IP fixed, you should reserve that IP on the ISP modem for the MAC address of the WAN port of the ER605. Many modem's will not 'recognize' a device that it didn't assign an IP to via DHCP (or if it does and you get the Gateway or DNS IPs wrong, it still won't work).
I would suggest you try to put your modem into bridge mode, and let your public IP from the ISP filter down to your ER605's WAN port...makes doing other stuff like port forwarding or DDNS easier.

@KaZyKa Are you paying for a static IP from your ISP provider? If so, are you following their instructions on how to configure your router...many carriers will still use DHCP to assign a 'static' IP to you.
If you configure the ER605 WAN for Dynamic IP what IP does it get...you can block out the middle two numbers ie 120.X.X.123

@d0ugmac1 Hi. Yeah I managed to write down the values from the ISP Router, before I set it to bridge mode.
The IP is 87.xxx.xx.157 and the Gateway is 87.xxx.xx.129. The Subnet and DNS can be seen in the picture.
As mentioned in the post. When I assigned a static IP directly on the R605 it worked, however, when doing this with the Omada Controller it doesn't

@d0ugmac1 Maybe it has been a long day for me. But aren't you suggestion doing this on my ISP router? If yes, then it is not possible for me since it is on bridge mode and I don't have access to it. Or do you suggest doing it on the Omada Controller?
