Firmware Version:

If modem loses connection to my cable ISP provider, middle light on router turns to yellow (from green). When modem re-establishes connection to my ISP the router does not automatically re-connect to the router and middle light stays yellow. I have to reboot the router to re-establish the connection with the modem each time this happens. Is there a setting I can change or a fix for this ?

May I know who your ISP is? and what is the WAN connection type on the router? like Dynamic IP or others?

 

When the problem happens, please connect a computer directly to your modem to see if internet works fine on the laptop.
