Hello,

 

I have a problem with the speed on my 2,4ghz network.

This is limited to 54 mbps in combination with the oc200 controller. When I configure my eap245 without the oc200 controller there is no speed limitation, but when I adopt the eap245 with the oc200 the problems occurs.

I have this on several oc200 controllers therefore I think it is a setting in the controller but I cannot find it.

Can someone help me

Hi @Habithuis,

 

You may check the 802.11 Rate Control Option, move the slider to determine what bit rates your 2.4 GHz network will allow.

This did not solve the problem unfortunately.

 

Why is it that the oc200 controller limits the data speed to 54mbps on the 2,4ghz.

  @Habithuis if you look at the rate control settings as shown by Hank21 these are minimum rates. It's generally best to have these set as low as possible to allows clients with weak connections to still remain connected. Hence the lower limits than expected. The maximum rates for 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz are not affected by this setting.

I think confirm if there are any actual restrictions on the connection speeds by looking at the wifi connection details on each particular WiFi client

Do you have the AI Wifi Optimization turned on?  If so, turn it off.
