I'm unable to use the USB Print Controller for Mac on my macOS Monterey Version 12.6.7 using the app from this link https://static.tp-link.com/upload/software/2022/202202/20220221/TP-LINK%20USB%20Printer%20Controller%20Installer.zip - truly appreciate some assistance as I'm not able to print or scan any documents from my printer.

  @mkferns

Hi, please follow this guide: How to setup and share a printer on your local network with Print Server feature on the TP-Link device (MAC OS) to check if the settings are configured correctly.

In addition, except for this MAC OS computer, is your other device like Windows computer etc. able to print or not?

  @Sunshine thanks for your reply! I have downloaded the app from the link below.

https://static.tp-link.com/upload/software/2022/202202/20220221/TP-LINK%20USB%20Printer%20Controller%20Installer.zip

However, after installing it and restarting the MacBook it just hangs and I'm not able to proceed with anything else - and the only choice is to reboot in Safe Mode and uninstall the TP-Link USB App and after that the Mac is able to reboot to the login screen as normal.

Without the USB App for Mac, I'm not able to connect to the printer via the router - and I've no problems in any of the Windows desktop & Notebooks (running Windows 8.1 and 10).

The MacBook is using macOS Monterey Version 12.6.7

I'd really appreciate assistance on this matter as I'm not able to print or scan any documents from my Mac - thanks!

Regards,

Mitchel
