Model: EAP610-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.20

@Hank21 @Fae

Please address this to avoid confusion. When people in the US come to the site, it defaults to the US region, however TP-Link seems to refuse to post firmware for this device on the US Site, despite warning to use your regions site to get the firmware.

V1 is available in the drop down, but when you go to support, it only shows V1.28, 1.26 and 1.20. There is nowhere to download anything for V1 on the US Site. TP-Link is obviously pushing the firmware from somehwere since my V1 (US) has updated twice through Omada. Why is TP-Link making firmware for this device seem so shady?  Just add the V1 to the list on the US Site, and link to whatever firmware is being pushed in Omada, even if its being shared with another region.  US customers are coming to the US site and warned to stay on this site, so put the firmware ON THE US SITE.

After clicking support from the above page there is no firmware for the V1.

Hello @RickJamesBish,

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

The hardware version of your EAP610-Outdoor is actually v1.2, but it is displayed as v1 on the device/controller web interface. You can easily download the corresponding v1.2 firmware directly from the official website.

Thank you so much for your feedback regarding our official webpage's display. We have already forwarded it to the appropriate departments for evaluation and necessary modifications.

  @Hank21 The latest firmware listed for v1.2 (https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/eap610-outdoor/v1.20/#Firmware) is 1.1.3 but the latest via the controller is 1.2.

  @mackworth The 1.2 had issues so I would not upgrade. Most reported the AP started dropping clients. I personally did not have that issue but did have wifi performance issues. I reverted back to 1.1.3 and now my network is back to normal.
