EAP225-Wall stopped working
Hello,
i have EAP225-Wall at my home and it was working perfectly until one day electricity was gone for a day and internet connection as well. After the electricity got back and internet was fixed my extender dons't work. no light (green light) and it looks like it doesn't work.
I tried connecting to the website that was in the instruction with the extender, but the link doesn't work, as well. + I don'[t see any battery or source of electricity so I don't know maybe it's just some kind of battery that died?
So I don't know if it's technical issue or something else.
p.s. yes, I checked the cables they are alright, as well as restarting the modem itself.
I hope someone can help me with this problem

The 225-wall gets its power via the ethernet cable that enters the rear of the unit. Do you have any other POE powered units? Are you using a POE switch, or a POE injector to feed power to the 225?

@d0ugmac1 It goes from my wifi router. Maybe there's some problem with the cable, but I checked it three times. everything should be working :( can it be that something happened with the extender?

@Barefootmoses Most are not POE capable. Which specific brand / model of wifi router are you using? It's usually the switch that provides the POE power, or it's done via single injector per wire.

@d0ugmac1 thank you for all support and advice. it looks like my device burnt out. Maybe you can recommend similar range extender that doesn't need electric socket ? I have my device on the ceiling and I don't have any possibility to connect it electricity anywhere near.

So the AP itself is no good? If so, the EAP615-wall is an excellent upgrade. It will also get power over the ethernet cable, so you do need a working poe injector or poe switch between your router and the new AP.
