Can you clarify this for me: is your Internet speed 400 Mbps, or is it the speed you were getting on WiFi before Deco mesh? If latter, what is the speed of your Internet connection?

Hi Alexandre, 400MB was the speed before Deco when i used provider wifi, but next to the modem.

Now I stopped that wifi on modem to use only Deco, but I am also at 400mb... so what is advantage at the end ? I was thinking that wifi is really boosted and accelerated using DEco, but not

On Main Deco, WiFi speed can not be faster than internet speed from your ISP provided Internet package. For example, I signed for 500Mbps package from my ISP: my WiFi speeds from device connected to Main Deco will not be faster than that. Even if Deco itself capable of supporting faster speeds.

That is the reason I asked you what is your internet speed. What internet package you signed with your ISP? Because, if your ISP provided you with 400Mbps Internet, that is the maximum you'll be getting from both modem and Main Deco. 

Can you check if you don't know? That info should be in your account page with your ISP.

When it comes to Satellite Deco, as long as it is wirelessly connected to Main Deco its speeds will be slower than Main Deco. You can find more about it here: Why is my satellite Deco unit not getting the same speed as the main Deco?

Still, 150Mbps sounds a bit slow. The first thing to check is find if maybe Satellite Deco too far from Main Deco. To check that, open Satellite Deco info page in Deco app and see what it says under Signal, example:

In that example, Signal is Fair. You can usually see one of three here: Weak, Fair, or Strong.What do you see in your Deco app for your Satellite Deco?

yes 400mb is speed from ISP, then ok for main deco.

But for satellite, as you said 150 looks slow. Probably because there is 15/20m distance between both.

I have a 3rd deco not in use - do you think relevant I install it between both ?

Adding third Deco will not increase speed. You should expect up to 200-250Mbps from Satellite Deco wirelessly connected to Main Deco, if they have strong signal between them. Have you checked what is the Signal for Satellite Deco, as I explained?

I only have 700mb/s with main Deco, and I keep the same as before for the second 150mb/s.... how is it possible ????

its signal is weak

how is possible ?

there are 10-15m between the main in salon and the satelitte in deskroom. should i place i third deco between the 2 to relay the signal ?

15m is close to maximum recommended distance between Deco units, and that when there is open space between them. If there are walls the recommended maximum distance will be less.

You can try moving Satellite Deco closer to Main Deco, until it reports Fair signal, and then see if you have sufficient WiFi coverage everywhere. You can also place third Deco between the two, but it is possible your Satellite in deskroom will still prefer to connect to Main Deco.
