Hello expert people,

I have a switch (and an Archer A7)  and I would like to keep my work pc separate from Alexa and my laptop (both are on wifi).

Ideally I would have 4 separated networks:

1. Work pc (lan)

2. Laptop (wifi) and PC (lan)

3. Alexa and Smart TV (wifi) and NAS (lan)

4  cable linked to another router used as an access point

In addition a guest network for cell phones etc.

Is this possible to do with an 8 port managed switch and an Archer A7?

If so, do any of the vlans have to be "tagged"?

  @I_want_a_refund

It would be better to use as your main router a device which supports VLANs, like TL-R605.

You Archer A7 could be used as second AP (in AP mode) to expand your wireless network for wireless devices.
