Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.
The VX230v is your main router, right? If you use a smartphone at the AX20 location to connect the main router 5G WiFi, is the signal strong or not?
Please try to change 5G WiFi channel on your main router to see if the signal strength will be better when AX20 connects to it.

@Sunshine Yes, VX230V is my main router. The meshed signals are weak even they are close together. I have another AX20_8728 but don't know why it use 2.4GHz to connect with the AX20_4E88 although it ever meshed 5GHz with VX230V when setup. What is the best channel for these three devices for 5GHz and 2.4GHz?

Is any solution found for this issue/problem?
I have had the similar issue/problem with VX230v (as the main router) and RE705X (as the agent) in the EasyMesh.

Hi, it is recommended to turn off the satellite units and use a client device next to the main router to check the main router signal strength to see if the issue exists on the main router or other satellite units.
Or you could also use WiFi Analyzer etc. to scan the wireless signals and check the signal strength of each signals.

@Sunshine I dont think we have the solution at the moment. The problem is from the software/firmware. I have tested all the possible cases already but it did not work, very slow and unstable.

It is definitely caused by the software of this stupid modem and they do not offer any solution.
