Mesh newtork between two routers Archer AX55 v1.0
Hello,
I can't make a mesh network between two routers Archer AX55 v1.0. When I`ve tried to make the second router mode to Satellite, it is back to factory default settings. I have already tried to do a factory reset from the reset button on the back of the router, but the problem still exists.

When building EasyMesh the satellite device just has to be reset to its factory defaults before adding it through the main router - here's a video guide.

Its have a lot of topics for a problem with making Tp-Link Archer AX55 in "Satellite mode". Maybe it's a firmware problem or bug, but nobody can do that. It is impossible to make an AX55 Satellite Router to join in Mesh.

@VenDimitrov From my experience, placing an EasyMesh-capable router in "satellite router mode" is essentially the same as performing a factory reset/restore — this is intended behavior, and it also means that all saved settings will be lost when switching.
At this point, if you try to access the web management page (192.168.0.1/tplinkwifi.net) on the router or perform any sort of initial setup on it, it will revert to main router mode. Even assigning a local password for the router during initial setup will essentially prevent it from being an eligible satellite router for EasyMesh.
To prevent the satellite router from reverting to main router mode, do not attempt to access the satellite router's web management page. Furthermore, once your satellite router has joined your existing network, you will no longer be able to access its web management page or manage it via the Tether app.
Once you have switched the EasyMesh mode to "satellite router" or performed a factory restore, you must complete the EasyMesh setup process on the main router's web management page. As long as your satellite router is still in factory default settings, it should be discoverable by your main router.

@rosscercado Thank you for sharing this. It makes perfect sense that one router must stay in "master role" and should be the only one interfaced directly. You can check its mesh status in the main router's advanced section.
