After a power outage my router will not automatically reconnect. It has to be manually rebooted. f someone is there, it is not as much of a problem. If I am out of town, it could be days without internet access for watering plants. Please advise.

Hi, what is the WAN connection type you configured on the Archer A8 router? PPPoE or Dynamic IP? and who is your ISP?

 

After the power outage, if the router has no internet access, please log into the web interface of the router, then save a screenshot of Network Map->Internet page to show the Internet Status and also save a system log file on Advanced->System->System Log page.

 

Besides, when the roouter has no internet access, please connect a computer to your ISP modem directly to see if your modem reconnects automatically or not.
