Hi all,

 

I use 3 X50 connected via WiFi. Internet and WiFi are working well.

I have a NAS connected to one satellite deco(also tried on main deco) via Ethernet. Another Ethernet device on the same deco has good performance. When I access the NAS via another deco, the speed is only about 100m/s although Internet speed and other WiFi devices via the same combination are gigabit-connected.

 

Any ideas?

On your NAS, check what it reports for the negotiated speed of its Ethernet ports.

If you can, configure Deco mesh to run in Access Point mode, and check again. Switching a Deco to Access Point (AP) Mode

I have Deco M5 hardwired to the ISP router, running in AP mode. I have PC hardwired to that Deco.

I have two NAS servers hardwired to ISP router. It so happened, today I decided to move about terabyte of files from one NAS to another using PC hardwired to the Deco. The read and write speeds reach 350Mbps each, totalling 700Mbps. Not bad, considering file transfer overhead by PC itself.
