Need parental controls synced to range extender RE450 from Archer A10. 

 

I have time limits for my daughter and her devices as configured on A10. 

 

She's simply bypassing them by connecting to the RE450. 

 

Is there not a way to have the parental controls synchronized somehow?

  @slabber As far as I understand, the RE is a standalone device which transmit the WIFI signal of router, thus the details of communication in RE is unavailable for the router. The parental control settings could not be synced to RE, hence the router don't konw which device is connected to RE at all. The replaceable method of your idea, I think, is to restrict the device from connecting to the RE during specific time by setting access control with the MAC of the device.

I think I will just restrict access to the RE450 by using a different password for the extender and not giving my daughter the new pw.  

 

Tether app doesn't look to support editing of password so I'll need to login to the extender directly I think.
