Password incorrect message when it's correct
Hello there, I've just set up my TP lInk extender but it won't connect to any of my devices, as keeps saying incorrect password - but its correct... I'm going around in circles - any help would be much appreciated? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
whether you have enabled the mesh function, if it is enabled, the SSID and password of the extended network will be consistent with the main router, if it is not enabled, the SSID and password of the main router and RE can be set separately, please confirm which WiFi you are connected to and enter the corresponding password
Other than that, some special characters can’t be used as the SSID or password in Range Extender thus the Range Extender can’t expand the wireless network successfully from the main router which uses these special characters in its SSID or password.

@Applejack thank you - so there are no special characters. Can you suggest any other work around - I'm going to reset the RE and try again also now...
