RE650 could not find 5G only 4G

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.0.5 BUILD 20211130 Rel. 77836

Hi all

I did try all sittings and information provided by TPlink for RE650 extender to connect 5GHz. The extender can find other 5GHz except mine hence the 2.4GHz easy to connect without problem.

What is the solution? knowing that the router I did use HG8245W5.

If someone have solution, please share it with me.

Is there any manual sittings can do so the extender can find the 5GHz

Hi,can your other device such as your phone connect 5G wifi to your HG8245W5 normally

check your settings in HG8245W5 and make sure do not hide SSID and do not enable Band Steering

Change a different 5GHz wireless channel (between 36-48) on the main router
