I have a the following setup at my home which is working well and covering the inside and directly outside of the home.

 

OC200 Controller

Er605 gateway

2x TL-SG2008 Switches

1x TL-SG2210P Switch

2x EAP610(EU) Access Points.

 

I do however have various network equipment within an outbuilding which currently connects through powerline adaptors.

 

I am thinking about moving away from the powerline adaptors and am wanting to install something within the outbuilding.

The outbuilding does not have a network wired connection to the main house.

The outbuilding is within wiffi coverage of one of the EAP610(EU)'s in the house.

 

Ideally i would like to install an AP in the outbuilding which also allows ethernet to be connected to the AP.

Ideall the AP would be able to mesh to the in house AP.

 

I have seen the EAP615- Wall which appears to be able to mesh to other AP's and also gives ethernet connections.

 

Can someone confirm if the EAP615-Wall will connect wirelessly to the exisiting EAP610(EU) and will it also be able to have at least one ethernet input into it from exisiting equipment within the outhouse?

Yes you can extend your wired network via mesh, connect meshed ap to a switch or what ever on rj45 direct in ap or to free port in poe adapter if you use EAP610-Outdoor you have poe adapter.

  @Keith_Dixon The EAP615-Wall does not support wireless connection to the front-end network, but it does provide wired connection networks for up to 3 end-clients. As far as I know, only the EAP610-Outdoor in tp-link's EAP family currently supports wireless connection (RE mode) to the front-end network, but it can't provide wired access for back-end devices.

  @DIDADI Thanks for your response.

 

I think the EAP610-Outdoor is the solution for outdoors however that does not help with inside the outbuilding.

 

I am surprised that there is no solution for a mesh connected AP with available wired connections.

there is no problem and mesh then from meshed ap connect a wired network in the remote building.

almost all ap have mesh except in wall series.

The outbuilding has a wired networked which currently uses a powerline adaptor to connect to the main house.

 

I understand i can mesh an AP over WIFI from the main house to the outbuilding however i would need to have the ability to plug in ethernet to the said Meshed AP to have the wired network accessing the network and internet from the main house.

 

To my understandign all TP-Link AP's have 1x RJ45 which is used to connect the AP to the wider network (as in the network in the main house) and not a meshed AP using the RJ45 to connect the local wired network (as in the outhouse) via mesh to the main house?

So to confirm:-

 

Connect EAP610-Outdoor via POE to a switch in the outbuilding.

The EAP610-Outdoor can mesh with the main house.

 

The switch in the outbuilding will therefore transmit and receive via mesh to the main house?

Superb,

 

All done

 

ER605 hard wired to 2x EAP605's

 

EAP620-Outdoor meshed to one of the EAP605's wirelessly

Switch connected to and powering the EAP620-Outdoor, though POE, feeding the outbuilding network.
