Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.26.3

Hi. Since upgrading the firmware of my OC200 to 1.26.3 Build 20230906 Rel.36269, logs will no longer send. I have tried 3 different SMTP servers and none work. It just comes back with a generic error:

"Failed to send the email to the specified recipient"

Hello @Cozz,

May I know whether this feature started to be not functional after the firmware upgrades?

Did you receive the Test Email when you used this email address to set it?

Could you use Gmail/Outlook to test again?

Hi Hank. I'm sorry, I don't remember how long after the upgrade it started to fail. I have tried the test email and did not receive it.

I have tried Google, Outlook & iCloud and all fail. All that I can see in logs is:

[Failed]The controller failed to mail global logs to <email address> automatically.

Hi @Cozz,

May I know from which firmware version was the controller upgraded to 5.12?

Please check whether the controller can access the Internet normally. If you have the backup files of the original firmware, you may downgrade to the original version to test if the SMTP server can be set successfully. We just need to confirm if this issue start to occur after the firmware upgraded.

@Hank21 Hi Hank. I did not take note of the previous firmware, however it was whatever was the latest version for a V2 OC200. I can confirm that the logs were sending successfully prior to the upgrade to the current firmware. It was only after the upgrade did the logs stop sending; there was no change in any setting since the upgrade with regards to the SMPT settings etc.
