Archer AX73 AX5400 a wonderfull product experience!!
Hello All,
First let me clarify that I register in this community for one reason and one reason only! This is my first and probably last post in here.
As the title suggest, I would like to share with the community how I spend the last three days of my life enjoying the stellar work of the tp-link engeneering departments at all levels.
And without further ado let's go...
1. AX73 or AX5400 make up your mind, whats wrong with you? just pick a model name.
2. Enabling WPA3 or anything other than WPA2 or no security is causing your device to go into reboot limbo that lasts forever, did you fire the whole QA department recently?? get yourself together, you are not in Kansas anymore!
3. Wifi 5GHz, any channel selection or even just picking 160Mhz width is causing the device to go into reboot limbo that also lasts forever.
4. 5GHz singal coverage is... in one word: TRAGIC! I had to use RE700X to get somewhat coverage in my 2 bedroom mansion. Thank god that atleast using the extender causes the main unit to reboot by itself only once per hour.
In summary, this unit do work but only with its factory settings, almost any change in those will make loose days and days chasing misterious reboots and other issues. I know that because I have been using on default setting for approximaely 10 months, and just recently decided to improve its security because it took 10 minutes for wifite on kali to show me my wifi password.
In conclusition, shame on you tp-link, you were much better back in the days when your product were litterally the cheapest mediocre products that one can buy.
Good luck to you guys and your future business endeavours!
