I have a WA850RE v 1.25, which I installed firmware v 1.20
with the intention of later installing v 2.0 and obtaining access point.
but when trying to install version v2. shows error 18005.

You have to check your WA850RE region and HW version first - details.

When you updating the device FW, you should use the latest FW release for your region and hardware version otherwise you'll get an error message.
