With this setup, in ideal conditions you should be able to get up to 300Mbps on PlayStation. 

The only unknown is distance: if M4 will be too far from Main Deco, you'll get worse that ideal results. How bad, one can't tell without testing. 

Here is what you can do before buying M4: take one of your E4 satellites and put where you plan to have M4. Hardwire PlayStation to it. 

Run speed tests on PlayStation and check signal level in Deco app for that E4. 

If signal level is better that Weak and speed test on PlayStation consistently returns speeds close to 100Mbps, that would mean M4 will do better. Because, obviously, E4 is constrained with 100Mbps Ethernet speed. 

In case in that setup speeds you are getting are way less than 100 Mbps, replacing E4 with M4 in that same location will not make the difference.

Apologies, I just realized I made a mistake.

As long as your Main Deco is E4, you can't get Internet speeds faster than 100Mbps in your home. It is because Main Deco E4 is also limited by its 100Mbps Ethernet ports.

To unlock Internet speeds faster than 100Mbps on PlayStation, you will have to replace both Main Deco and Satellite Deco to which PS will be wired with Decos that have gigabit Ethernet ports, such as M4, M5 or M9 Plus.

You wrote your question correctly and I haven't read it carefully. As long as your Main Deco is E4, your home network will not get Internet speeds faster than 100Mbps. It is because E4 has 100Mbps Ethernet ports. It will be physically impossible for Main Deco E4 to exceed 100Mbps on its connection to ISP router.

Sorry, but you must replace Main Deco with different Deco model to unlock 300Mbps Internet link speed from your ISP.
