10 MBPS Half Duplex at Wan Input Port
Connection Topology - OFC Cable to GPON Modem to TP link router
My Router is dropping speed and the maximum I am getting is at 7-8 MBPS.
My connection though is at 50 MBPS
Checked it with Cable directly from GPON Modem and its at 50MBPS
Checked it wirelessly through router at was between 7-8 MBPS
Checked it wired from router it was at 7-8 MBPS
Also checked if the cable was at fault by changing the cable.
Noticed that WAN input shows 10MBPS Half Duplex.
Can someone suggest a solution?

Yes I was able to see Full duplex with same cable when directly connected to the ISP but same showed half duplex via router to PC.
Surprisingly the router now shows Full duplex automatically without me doing anything.
Can you please suggest is my firmware version is update with respect to the HW version
below mentioned is my current status and if i need to do anything.
I am worried this issue should not occur again.

May I have a screenshot of the router WAN port negotiation speed and duplex mode?
And are you able to check the duplex mode as well when connecting a computer directly to the ISP modem with the same cable?
Please try resetting the router to factory defaults by holding reset button for about 10s to see if it helps.

Glad to hear that it has been working fine on its own.
In addition, there is a newer firmware than yours, so you could also download the latest firmware from our official website and update it manually:

Now my router is updated with the newest firmware for it.
On update and reboot, the router was on 100MBPS full duplex but after a while went back to 10MBPS half duplex.
can we identify what the actual problem is?
Is the Hardware at fault?
i need to solve this issue ASAP. My work is being hampered.
find below screenshot after update.

Hi,
You mentioned "Checked it with Cable directly from GPON Modem and its at 50MBPS“ in your original post, please try testing the GPON Modem again and monitor for longer time since the issue happens after a while on the router.
If the GPON Modem is always working on 100Mbps full duplex with your computer with the same cable, it might be either the WAN port issue of the router or some compatibility issue between the GPON Modem and the router.
