Wifi connection3Why my phone is connected on 2.4GHz even im infront of my router and smart connect is ON. I have checked 2.4GHz is on -42 dBm and 5GHz is on -46 dBm there is no huge difference of signal strength. Here are the screenshots.WiFi Connection

Hi, signal strength is not the only factor that affects the smart connect, it needs to balance the load of each bands as well and assign devices to the most appropriate band.

If you would like to connect the phone to 5G WiFi, please disable smart connect and set different SSIDs for the two bands.
