Hello,

I currently have a CenturyLink Actiontec Q2000 router with two DSL lines thru Centurylink.

This set up provides me with approx. 8 Mbps download and 1.7 Mbps upload. I live in a rural area with no cable available. In todays broadband this is slow as molasses.

I would like to add Starlink to this setup. I need a router that can handle the dual DSL lines plus the Starlink line.

I need to be able to program this router to pick the fastest route and load balance, multi home etc....

Is there a router that can do this?
If so which router.

Thanks for your help,

cdcook

  @cdcook

All TPlink routers from ER605 through ER8411 can do 3 WANs with failover or load balance as the strategy.

In your case the ER605v2 should be adequate performance wise, and you can weight each of the 3 WAN connections for load-balancing purposes that say prefer Starlink over DSL on a 10:1 basis or whatever.  You can also force certain devices to only use certain WAN interfaces.
