Disconnecting every 5 minutes
Disconnecting every 5 minutes
Team,
I have a device connected to a ER7206 router. And according to the log on the controller, it is disconnecting every 5 minutes.
The device then reconnects a few minutes later.
This behavior is not shown in the OS log of that device..
Is anyone able to explain what could be happening here?

The Client Idle Threshold is a new feature added on the Controller v5.12, it allows you to specify the interval after which Omada Controller will claim a client is disconnected if it fails to report its status within that timeframe. It can not be disabled currently, you may change the time interval.

Interesting... what is meant with "fails to report its status"?
As in: what is monitored for the specified period of time?

Added the feature mainly considering the previous customer feedback that there are problems with clients still connecting even when they are Offline.
