Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I normally set my static IP addresses outside of the DHCP pool range. It's not clear if that is necessary for my AX6000, but I sleep better at night if the static addresses are protected in this way.

Since my firmware doesn't allow me to assign IP addresses beyond the pool range, I follow this process to make it happen:

1. Expand the range to include the desired static IP address.

2. Add the desired static IP address

3. Collapse the pool to its original value

Works for me.

  @Golding

It's a good tip, the older TP units used to be ok to do this anyway but the newer gen ones don't seem to accept it done normally & spit the dummy.
