I have three Deco M5 packs, and I am experiencing a weak WiFi connection in one of the Deco units located in a secure room. If I connect this unit directly with an Ethernet cable to one of the outlets in the room, will it improve the WiFi connection?

Yes, it will, as long as Deco M5 can use that Ethernet cable to establish Ethernet backhaul. More about this topic here: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
