Ok, I understand so I need to disconnect the ethernet cable link and use it wirelessly, I can make that change yes.

So as they are both the latest WiFi 6e matching devices:

TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router, 

TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E Range Extender

Once I do that, disconnect the cable and enable OneMesh, it means I will then have a mesh working with WiFi 6e working from both devices. Yes?

Is that correct?

Not really. You have to switch your RE815XE back in range extender mode first.

Then use this guide to build a Onemesh between the AXE75 and the RE815XE.

Yes, as you say I will need tochange the device back into extender mode.

Just to fully clarify things before I start making changes.

Once I make that change and follow that guide, will this then mean that I will have a WiFi 6e enabled mesh working between these two WiFi 6e devices?

So I will be able to connect to either device with WiFi 6e speeds from my phone, laptop etc?

I have the axe75 as an access point I also have 2 wifi6e devices and they don't pick up. As wifi6e how do I enalbkes the e? As the WiFi6 speeds are 200mb slower than my isp. Router :(
