3 Pack XE75 Pro
quick couple of questions:
if I buy a 3 pack xe75 pro, can I use 2 of them and give the third to my father to use as his router? or do all 3 have to be kept together?
are all 3 of them identical or can only one of them be used to take in the internet connection and then distribute it to the other 2?

All three of them are identical when it comes to hardware. One of them, the first you power on and configure, will be Main Deco and it must be connected to ISP modem/router by Ethernet cable. Other two will be Satellite Deco and will connect to Main Deco over WiFi or they also can by Ethernet cable.
If Main Deco experiences hardware failure, you can take any of remaining two Satellites, promote it to Main Deco and it will be the new Main Deco.
You can give one of X75s from the set to your father, and configure it separately to be WiFi router at his place. Just don't power it on at your place, or it'll automatically join your Deco mesh. In case that happens, you must delete it from Deco app first, to reset that X75, before you can give it to someone. How can I reset or reboot my Deco Whole-Home Wi-Fi System?
