Model: RE505X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 20230926 Rel. 181123

Hi everyone:

I have my Mesh network with the following devices:

  • Main router (get's fiber internet from ISP router wich is in bridge mode): Archer C80 v1.0 (firmware 1.13.2 Build 230824 Rel.74702n(4555)
  • 2 x RE700X v1.0 (firmware 1.1.4 Build 20230509 Rel. 78185)
  • RE505X v.1.0 (firmware 1.0.13 Build 20230926 Rel. 181123)

They are all set to reboot weekly:

  • C80: reboots every Sunday, 6:00
  • RE700X: power off time every Sunday 6:33 - 6:35
  • RE700X: power off time every Sunday 6:37 - 6:39
  • RE505X: power off time every Sunday, 6:30 - 6:32

Problem:

Every time the RE505X reboots, it doesn't go online. I have to manually press the button on the device to make it connect to the Mesh network.

Anyone have any idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Ricardo

  @RFP

Hi, after the RE505X reboots, please confirm if it only doesn't join mesh network, or doesn't connect the router at all, let us know the LED status please.

You could also check the mesh device list and status on the main router.

Besides, when they are working fine, please confirm the RE505X is connected to the main router or connected to another RE700X extender?

  @Sunshine Hi there!
Thank you for your time.

So I rebooted RE505X in the Tether app.

Here is a photo of RE505X after reboot (it remains like this unless I press the button), a printscreen of Tether devices and the Mesh device list in the main router.

And the webpage of the local IP of RE505X is unable to open.

When it's working fine it is connected to Archer C80, the main router.

Please let me know if you need any more info from me.

Thank you!
