Model: Archer C20
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hey there,

So, I moved to the Archer C20 router yesterday, and things were going nice, until the power went out. Now, whenever that happens, my ethernet speed is being capped at 10mbps. Also restarting the computer makes the same problem!
a speed

The only fix? Unplugging and replugging the ethernet cable like two or three times, and configuring the adapter. After doing this manually, things become okay

another speed

This wasn't a thing with my old router, and wireless seems fine, so it's gotta be something with the C20. Any ideas on what might be causing this trouble? I've checked the usual suspects (cable quality, settings, firmware, changing ports), but no dice.

Thanks for any tips!

Use another ethernet cable of a good quality and test if the issue has gone.

You didn't mention your C20 HW and FW version. Make sure that you're with the latest for your device.

Only LAN1 has this issue or all LAN ports ?

The other reason for such issue can be a defective ethernet port, which is highly unlikely for a brand new device.

If nothing helps you can contact your local tech support for assistance on that.
