i just got ths eap655 and its showing as custom, which is fine i guess, but when new firmware comes out i have to go download it and apply it myself. the 1.2.6 firmware was just relased, but not available for download.... can i fix this?

Where did you get the AP from? That said I have seen TPlink gear ship with firmware versions not available anywhere else, so that may be confusing the controller.
