Model: TL-WR741ND
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: TL-WR740N

My own device was picking up distant networks, but after it hit the ground, it was no longer picking them up with the same strength. What is the solution?

  @Bilalzakria

TBH, if your device is WR740N v5 that mean its FW is 9 years old (from late 2015).

I would recommend to buy a new up to date router with more recent FW release for your own security.

If you don't want to spend much money for a new device a WR841N is a good choice.
