Wonder if anyone can help please?

When I go into the  deco app and set up my VPN client (Surf shark) I can select a server but it always stays in 'connecting' and never connects. I have to delete the VPN and try again. Deco just won't connect with Surf Shark.

Any ideas please as I am not only frustrated, I am not especially tech savvy being a 65 year old technophobe!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
